1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jameis Winston, QB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Jameis Winston, QB

A 2014 Josh McCowen lead Buccaneers and no good free agent quarterbacks, they were in dire need of a starting quarterback. They stick with Jameis Winston here as he is arguably the best quarterback in this draft that also features Marcus Mariota, Bryce Petty and Sean Mannion. Winston did accumulate 19, 737 passing yards and 121 touchdowns with the team while also earning one pro-bowl.

2. Tennessee Titans: Amari Cooper, WR (Picked No. 4)

Original Pick: Marcus Mariota, QB

No quarterbacks in this draft, so the Titans secure a wide receiver one in Amari Cooper. The four time pro-bowler has eclipsed 1,000 yards in four of his five seasons and shown that he can catch almost anything. Whoever is taking the helm for the Titans offense at least has him to throw and they have pivotal piece of their offense for years to come.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Danielle Hunter, DE (Picked No. 88)

Original Pick: Dante Fowler Jr, DE

Hunter only had 3 sacks in his collegiate career, and in his rookie season got 6 sacks. In Hunters second season he started zero games and amassed a whopping 12.5 sacks. This past season (5th) he became the youngest player in NFL history to reach 50+ sacks in their career. The two time pro-bowler is one of the best defensive ends in the league and the Jaguars would love to have this pick back.

4. Oakland Raiders (Now LV Raiders): Stefon Diggs, WR (Picked No. 146)

Original Pick: Amari Cooper, WR

Derek Carr had passing options such as Andre Holmes and 30 year old James Jones. The Raiders needed to get him his wide receiver one. With Cooper taken number two the Raiders get the second best receiver in this draft in Stefon Diggs. Diggs made history with the Minneapolis Miracle and has shown elite footwork with an ability to separate from any cornerback. Diggs is a great wide out and gives Carr a great deep option.

5. Washington Redskins: Brandon Scherff, G (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Brandon Scherff, G

Redskins needed an offensive lineman and they hit the jackpot with Scherff. The three time pro-bowl guard has been able to hold down the inside of the offensive line from the best defensive tackle. Washington doesnt regret this pick, they even picked up his fifth year option this offseason.

6. New York Jets: Grady Jarrett, DT (Picked No. 137)

Original Pick: Leonard Williams, DT

The Jets needed front line help and Williams is a solid defensive tackle but does not get after the quarterback enough, in 2019 he only had half a sack on the season. Grady Jarrett has shown not only to be able disrupt the defense but get after the quarterback getting 7.5 sacks this past season. The one time pro-bowler is lighting quick coming the off the line and solidifed himself as one of the best defensive tackles in the league.

7. Chicago Bears: Eric Kendricks, LB (Picked No. 45)

Original Pick: Kevin White, WR

Kevin White was never healthy for the Bears and after the retirement of Brian Urlacher in 2012 the Bears had a gap in the middle line backing position. Eric Kendricks has accumulated over 100 total tackles in four of his five season and is a one time pro-bowler, one time first team all-pro player. He’s shown a great ability to stop the run and drop back to cover running backs or tight ends. He would dominate the middle of the defense for the Bears the same way he has for the Vikings.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Frank Clark, DE (Picked No. 63)

Original Pick: Vic Beasley, OLB

The Falcons needed a pass rusher and they only got one good year out of Beasley. Frank Clark is a stud rushing off the edge, averaging 8.5 sacks a season since entering the league. The one time pro-bowler was the 2019 Superbowl hero sacking Jimmy Garrapollo with under a minute and thirty seconds left on the clock and getting the ball back for the offense securing the win for the Chiefs. The Falcons would love to have his pass rushing ability during their Superbowl run.

9. New York Giants: Trent Brown, T (Picked No. 244)

Original Pick: Erek Flowers, T

The Giants were hoping to find their blindside blocker in Erek Flowers but it never panned out. Trent Brown would be the perfect blocker for Eli Manning and now Daniel Jones. The one time pro-bowler is a towering 6’8″ 380 pounds, and protected Brady’s blindside on the way to a Superbowl win. With a weak offensive line, the Giants would benefit greatly from his blocking ability and with Barkley now on the team Brown would open up a lot of running lanes like he did for Josh Jacobs in 2019.

10. St. Louis Rams (Now LA Rams): Todd Gurley, RB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Todd Gurley, RB

No change here, no one can predict injuries, and Gurley has been one of the best backs in the league since he entered. In his five year career Gurley garnered 5,404 rushing yards and 71 rushing touchdowns. Accumulating three pro-bowls and two first team all-pro honors. He also rushed for over a thousand yards in three of his five season and carried the Rams offense in their 2018 Superbowl run. He’s truly a beast in the backfield and I except him to make a big come back in Atlanta. Don’t sleep on him in 2020.

11. Minnesota Vikings: Marcus Peters, CB (Picked No. 18)

Original Pick: Trae Waynes, CB

The Vikings were looking to find a cornerback to pair with Xavier Rhodes and while Waynes was serviceable they go with Marcus Peters here. A three time pro-bowler and two time first team all-pro player Peters is one of the best in the league and has shown that since his rookie year. Averaging an outstanding 5 interceptions a season, Peters is a lockdown corner with a knack for finding the ball. This would be one of the best secondary in 2015 with Harrison Smith, Xavier Rhodes, Peters.

12. Cleveland Browns: Kwon Alexander, LB (Picked No. 124)

Original Pick: Danny Shelton, DT

Kwon Alexander is a defensive field general and is a sideline to sideline linebacker who wont stop until the whistle blows. This wasn’t a need for the Browns, as they need an outside linebacker more than an inside, but the one time pro-bowler has shown that when healthy he’s a do-it-all linebacker with a nose for finding the ball carrier. Alexander would improve the Browns defense has they were still in the midst of a rebuild at this time.

13. New Orleans Saints: Andrus Peat, T (Picked No. 13)

Original Pick: Andrus Peat, T

No change here for the Saints. Andrus Peat is a two time pro-bowl player and has held down either the guard or tackle spot for the Saints. He’s helped guide their run game to be one of the best in the league and has shown excellent pass blocking ability. Saints don’t regret this pick and love the production they have received thus far, they signed him to a five-year 57.5 million dollar contract.

14. Miami Dolphins: Tyler Lockett, WR (Picked No. 69)

Original Pick: Devante Parker, WR

Tyler Lockett has entered the league he’s shown to be not only a solid receiver but also a great return man. With one pro-bowl and one first team all-pro, Lockett was overlooked because of his size (5’10”) but has since shown he can be an excellent deep threat accumulating over 1,000 receiving yards in 2019. The Dolphins would love to have a player who can play multiple positions and be a receiving option from day one for Ryan Tannehill.

15. San Diego Chargers (Now LA Chargers): Melvin Gordon, RB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Melvin Gordon, RB

No change here. Despite the contract dispute that ended their tenure together, the Chargers traded up to get Gordon in this draft because they really wanted him. A two time pro-bowler Gordon has shown proven he can run between the tackles and be a receiving threat out of the backfield as well. I don’t think the Chargers regret this decision and given the chance would make it again.

16. Houston Texans: Byron Jones, CB (Picked No. 27)

Original Pick: Kevin Johnson, CB

Johnson only appeared in 35 of a possible 64 games for the Texans prompting them to go with the athletic freak that is Byron Jones. A one time pro-bowler, Jones has played all over the secondary and put his name on the map when he set a long jump world record at the combine with a 12 foot, 2 and three quarters broad jump. Texans would benefit from his athletic ability to play anywhere in the secondary.

17. San Francisco: Arik Armstead, DE (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Arik Armstead, DE

No change here for the 49ers. Armstead has been a dominate force since he entered the league and was. instrumental on their Superbowl run this past year. Notching 10 sacks in 2019 Armstead has built on every year improving his play. San Francisco signed him to five year 85 million dollar contract, they believe in him and wouldn’t change this pick.

18. Kansas City: La’el Collins, T (Undrafted)

Original Pick: Marcus Peters, CB

Chiefs needed some help at the tackle position and with Peters gone they fill that void with La’el Collins. Collins really found his own in the 2017 season when he became the full time starter on the right side. A playoff team already with Alex Smith at quarterback, the Chiefs would benefit from securing their offensive line and would have a pillar to protect Patrick Mahomes for years too come.

19. Cleveland Browns: Ali Marpet, G (Picked No. 61)Mitch Morse, G (Picked No. 49)

Original Pick: Cameron Irving, T

Browns needed offensive line help and Irving never meshed with the team the way they hoped. Browns go Ali Marpet here. Marpet has been consistent in his young career starting 72 of a possible 80 career games playing center, right guard and left guard. In 2019 Marpet only allowed two sacks, pairing him with Joe Thomas would have provide any of the quarterbacks for the Browns, protection and enough time make a pass.

20. Philadelphia Eagles: Landon Collins, SS (Picked No. 33)

Original Pick: Nelson Agholor, WR

Agholor has shown flashes but never found his stride with the Eagles, they go with Landon Collins instead. Malcom Jenkins held down the back end for the Eagles and adding Collins allows for arguably the hardest hitting safety pair in the league. A three time pro-bowler and one time first team all-pro player, Collins can line up in the box on blitz packages or drop back to cover the pass. A true Swiss army knife at the safety spot, the NFC East would struggle to throw on this ball hawking secondary.

21. Cincinnati Bengals: Mitch Morse, C (Picked No. 49)

Original Pick: Cedric Ogbuchi, T

The Bengals had a decent offensive line between Andre Smith, Kevin Zeitiel and Andrew Whitworth but still needed help solidifying blockers. Morse is a great center who beats opposing defenders at the point of contact. A leader on the offensive line, Morse would have been a great fit for the Bengals that couldn’t seem to win in the playoffs at this point due to a stagnant offense.

22. Pittsburgh Steelers: Zadarius Smith, DE (Picked No. 122)

Original Pick: Bud Dupree, OLB

While Dupree signed the Franchise tag this offseason, it wasn’t until 2019 that he found his stride in Pittsburgh. Zadarius had an incredible year last year notching a career high 13.5 sacks and earning his first pro-bowl. He has shown consistent growth throughout his young career and showed the entire NFL community he is one of the best pass rushers in the league.

23. Denver Broncos: Preston Smith, LB (Picked No. 38)

Original Pick: Shane Ray, DE

The Broncos needed a rusher and similar to Zadarius, Preston Smith (no relation) has grown every season since starting getting a career high 12 sacks last year. Shane Ray never developed into the pass rusher the Broncos were hoping and struggled to stay healthy. Smith has started 64 games straight games for both the Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers, securing 28.5 sacks through all 64.

24. Arizona Cardinals: Trey Flowers, DE (Picked No. 101)

Original Pick: DJ Humphries, T

DJ. Humphries received a three year contract extension, the Cardinals needed depth on the defensive front and having Trey Flowers paired with Calais Campbell would have been a lethal pass rushing duo. He made arguably the biggest play in Superbowl LI sacking Matt Ryan with 4 minutes on the clock down by eight points giving all momentum to the Patriots who would go on to win. Flowers has shown he is a force in the league.

25. Carolina Panthers: Shaq Thompson, LB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Shaq Thompson, LB

No change here, Thompson has shown he is one of the best inside linebackers in the league and will be taking over the Panthers defense with Keuchley now retired. He had his best season in 2019, earning over 100 tackles, 75 of which were solo. He has proven to be a great run stopping linebacker and has show development as a pass coverage one as well. Panther don’t regret this pick.

26. Baltimore Ravens: Denzel Perryman, LB (Picked No. 48)

Original Pick: Breshad Perriman, WR

Perriman never worked with the Ravens and they were thin at the linebacking position. Denzel Perryman has been a steady starting line backer since entering the league, he would be able to provide depth and youth for the Ravens at a point where Elvis Dumervil was 31, Daryl Smith was 33 and Courtney Upshaw would depart in free agency in 2016. Perryman would be able to fill in following the turnover at the position.

27. Dallas Cowboys: David Johnson, RB (Picked No. 86)

Original Pick: Byron Jones, CB

Murray left in free agency following and 1,800 yard rushing season with the Cowboys leaving a massive hole in the offense. Although injured in recent years, David Johnson is one of the best backs when he is healthy. The one time pro-bowler and first team all-pro player was only 121 yards away from getting 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in 2016. With the Cowboys offensive line and David Johnson’s skill set he would easily accomplish the 1,000 rushing and receiving yards.

28. Detroit Lions: Shaq Mason, C (Picked No. )

Original Pick: Laken Tomlinson, G

Tomlinson was gone after just two seasons in Detroit, and they were in desperate need of interior line help. Shaq Mason has been a proven interior lineman who is capable of competing with the best defenses. A two time Superbowl champion holding down the interior for the Patriots would be the exact lineman that the Lions wanted to protect Stafford.

29. Indianapolis Colts: Adrian Amos, S

Original Pick: Phillip Dorsett, WR

Dorsett never grew in Indianapolis and the Colts needed help in the secondary with 34 year old Mike Adams holding down the strong safety position. Indianapolis goes Adrian Amos this time around. Amos has been a consistent threat in the secondary averaging over 65 total tackles and three tackles for loss per season since entering the league. He would be able to hold down the free safety spot next to Adams and with Vontae Davis as the starting cornerback this becomes a very strong secondary.

30. Green Bay Packers: Damarius Randall, DB

Original Pick: Damarius Randall, DB

No change here. The Packers needed help in the secondary and Randall has shown he can line up against a wide receiver and cover the safety position. He played well in his time with Green Bay and started all of his five post season games with them. He filled a position that they needed at the time.

31. New Orleans Saints: Dante Fowler Jr, DE/LB (Picked No. 3)

Original Pick: Stephone Anthony, LB

Anthony never found footing on the Saints roster but they needed a linebacker so the Saints go Dante Fowler Jr here. Fowler found his stride this season amassing 11.5 sacks, 58 total tackles and 16 tackles for loss. Under the right coach he is an absolute game changer. Sean Payton would have a field day with Fowler’s athleticism on his roster.

32. New England Patriots: Eddie Goldman, DT (Picked No. 39)

Original Pick: Malcom Brown, DT

Malcom Brown played well with the Patriots, but Goldman is a true old school, line up over the center nose tackle. His stats aren’t crazy, but he absolutely wrecks offensive lines making it impossible to run between the tackles or guards. At 336 pounds he ran a 5.12 forty time which is blazing speed for his size and it shows averaging 2.5 sacks per season since he came into the NFL. Belichick would have unique ways for his defense to get after the quarterback with Goldman blowing up the middle.
