1. Cleveland Browns: Lamar Jackson, QB (Picked No.32 Overall)

Original Pick: Baker Mayfield, QB

The Browns originally selected Baker Mayfield. The reason for a quarterback selection here was to turn Cleveland around and create a winning culture. Lamar Jackson has a record so far of 19-3, throwing 42 touchdowns to nine interceptions and an MVP award. Jackson brings his thunder to Cleveland.

2. New York Giants: Saquon Barkley, RB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Saquon Barkley, RB

No changes here for the number two pick. Saquon Barkley has played 29 games for the Giants. Averaging 4.8 yards per carry, the Giants are in need of a running back more than any position going into this draft. Barkley is a weapon in both the run and passing game. His 3,469 yards and 23 total touchdowns give New York all the reasons to make this pick once again.

3. New York Jets: Baker Mayfield, QB (Picked No.1 Overall)

Original Pick: Sam Darnold, QB

Baker Mayfield brings his personality to New York. Many criticize Baker for his large number of interceptions. Baker can easily improve this by making less risky throws. Baker threw a record number of touchdowns his rookie season. Baker has gone to New York to be the quarterback of the future. As the Jets are being patient with Sam Darnold, why wouldn’t they be patient with Baker?

4. Cleveland Browns: Denzel Ward, CB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Denzel Ward, CB

The Ohio State product stays in Cleveland here with the fourth selection. Cleveland has many options here with their second pick in the top four. Ward fills a need for this defense. He has obtained five interceptions throughout his career but has one of the lowest passer ratings when targeted. Only allowing 36 passes completed last season, he ranked top five in pass coverage.

5. Denver Broncos: Minkah Fitzpatrick, S (Picked No.11 Overall)

Original Pick: Bradley Chubb, DE

The Broncos had a need for a safety here and Minkah Fitzpatrick has been a force in both Miami and Pittsburgh. In 32 games, Minkah has had seven interceptions, 149 tackles and three touchdowns in two seasons. Pairing him with Justin Simmons would create a versatile secondary for Denver. The 2019 First Team All-Pro goes here at five.

6. Indianapolis Colts: Quenton Nelson, OG (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Quenton Nelson, OG

In two years, Quenton Nelson has been a stand out offensive linemen; two All-Pro selections in two seasons. Nelson is young and has established himself as one of the top guards in both the running and passing game for Indianapolis. The team makes the same selection here as Nelson is the best linemen in the draft.

7. Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen, QB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Josh Allen, QB

Josh Allen goes to the Bills, as was in the original draft. While Allen has had his struggles, the Bills traded up to this spot to obtain him after a playoff appearance last year. I truly believe the Bills needed to take Allen once again. In 28 games started, he has a total of 47 touchdowns in two seasons. I believe he is selected here once again.

8. Chicago Bears: Darius Leonard, LB (Picked No.36 Overall)

Original Pick: Raquan Smith, MLB

Darius Leonard was originally selected in the second round. After earning the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2018, Leonard has put up quite the stat line in two seasons. In 28 games played, he has seven interceptions at the linebacker position and his 284 tackles are top five in the league since he was drafted. Leonard goes over Smith in this Re-Do.

9. San Francisco 49ers: Mike McGlinchey, OT (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Mike McGlinchey, OT

After the 49ers invested heavily in Jimmy G, they needed a tackle to keep him upright. McGlinchey and his 6’7 frame go here at nine. His protection is so important to this offense. After being a blocker for the 49ers offense that was so incredible last season, there is little reason to believe that he would not be the selection once again.

10. Arizona Cardinals: Sam Darnold, QB (Picked No.3 Overall)

Original Pick:  Josh Rosen, QB

Josh Rosen may be known as the man who has not had the opportunity but he was not productive in Arizona. Sam Darnold goes here to a Cardinals team that traded up for this pick. Darnold comes in as the starter for the Cardinals. Darnold would flourish with a number one receiver like the one in Larry Fitzgerald. He never got that in New York.

11. Miami Dolphins: Derwin James, S (Picked No.17 Overall)

Original Pick: Minkah Fitzpatrick, S

With Mikah Fitzpatrick off the board here, Derwin James is the selection. An All-Pro as a rookie, Derwin James plays all over the defense and will be a wrecking ball in the league for years to come. In 26 games played, James has 139 total tackles, three interceptions and 3.5 sacks. A safety is needed in Miami and he will bring the boom down to South Beach.

12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Bradley Chubb, DE (Picked No.5 Overall)

Original Pick: Vita Vea, DT

Vita Vea was a solid selection here but defensive tackle was not a need for Tampa. Chubb comes in as he is a problem coming off the edge for opposing offenses. An ALC tear ended his second season early but he had 12 sacks as a rookie. Tampa is in need of more pass-rushers and Chubb fills the need here.

13. Washington Redskins: D.J Moore, WR (Picked No.24 Overall)

Original Pick: Da’Ron Payne, DE

D.J Moore fills a need for an offense that does not have a true No.1 receiver; filling a need for the quarterback carousel that is the Washington Redskins offense. Da’Ron Payne was the original selection here. D.J Moore brings a weapon to this offense that will be productive with anyone throwing the ball to him.

14. New Orleans Saints: Roquan Smith, ILB (Picked No. 8 Overall)

Original Pick: Marcus Davenport, OLB

Marcus Davenport was selected here at 14 after the Saints traded up. This time around the Saints select Roquon Smith. He can be the quarterback of the defense here for New Orleans. In two seasons, Smith has accumulated 222 tackles and seven sacks. A team with not a lot of holes to fill, the Saints fill one here at linebacker.

15. Oakland Raiders: Nick Chubb, RB (Picked No. 35 Overall)

Original Pick: Kolton Miller, OT

Nick Chubb showed flashes of his incredible potential last season. The Raiders desperately needed a running back going into this draft. In 32 games Chubb has appeared in he has found the end zone 16 times on the ground, rushing for 2,490 rushing yards. This would add a workhorse back to this offense, taking pressure off of Derek Carr.

16. Buffalo Bills: Tremaine Edmunds, LB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Tremaine Edmunds, LB

Only 21 years old and two seasons played, Edmunds has many years left in the league. A tackling machine, Edmunds stays the pick here. Buffalo traded up in the draft once again to get him and believe they stay with both their picks as they made two great selections for their franchise.

17. Los Angeles Chargers: Rashaan Evans, LB (Picked No.22 Overall)

Original Pick: Derwin James, S

After missing out on Derwin James, the Chargers go with the top linebacker here. Adding Evans in between Bosa and Ingram would be scary. Evans came out of Alabama with a one-year resume and has transitioned to a solid NFL linebacker. The Chargers take a chance here that will pay off.

18. Green Bay Packers: Jaire Alexander, CB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Jaire Alexander, CB

The Packers have a spot to fill at corner that forces them to take the top available at the position. This creates a scenario based on need and talent where they have the same pick. Alexander goes here at 18 to fill the need for the Packers.

19. Dallas Cowboys: Leighton van Der Esch, LB (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Leighton Vander Esch, OLB

It is safe to say that the Cowboys would make this selection again. Vander Esch has been a leader and a defensive presence game in and game out for the Boys. With 212 tackles and a pro bowl appearance in two years, the Cowboys take this selection once again as he is the highest rated linebacker left in this class.

20. Detroit Lions: Frank Ragnow, C (Same Selection)

Original Pick: Frank Ragnow, C

Safe pick for a center that has been great for the Lions run game the past two seasons. The Arkansas product brings the heat to Detroit in this Re-Do. The pick stays the same as he has not missed a game for the Lions.

21. Cincinnati Bengals: Will Hernandez, G (Picked No. 34 Overall)

Original Pick: Billy Price, C

Billy Price was drafted due to his versatility on the offensive line. Will Hernandez has been so productive at the guard position that it’s hard to not want to select him here. Hernandez helps a need for the Bengals and becomes the blocker for Joe Mixon for years to come.

22. Tennessee Titans: Calvin Ridley, WR (Picked No. 26 Overall)

Original Pick: Rashaan Evans, ILB

Calvin Ridley goes to the Titans to be their true number one receiver. Going into this season, the Titans selected Corey Davis top five in the 2017 draft. They doubled down on the receiver position. Calvin Ridley has been a great weapon for the Atlanta offense and helps Corey Davis and the Titans pass game.

23. New England Patriots: Philip Lindsay, RB (Undrafted)

Original Pick: Isaiah Wynn, T

The Patriots originally went with Isaiah Wynn, who missed his whole rookie season. Give Belichick a running back like Lindsay who is a hard worker and made a name for him after being undrafted. Lindsay would be the perfect complement in the backfield for the Patriots.

24. Carolina Panthers: Courtland Sutton, WR (Picked No.40 Overall)

Original Pick: D.J Moore, WR

Courtland Sutton came on the scene last season after Emmanuel Sanders was traded, starting 23 games out of 32 game appearances. Cam Newton loves big possession receivers who stretch the field. Sutton made an impact last year with 72 catches and 1,112 yards. Carolina’s offense would love to have Sutton when D.J Moore is selected earlier.

25. Baltimore Ravens: Mark Andrews, TE (Picked No.86 Overall)

Original Pick: Hayden Hurst, TE

The Ravens selected two different tight ends in this draft. Andrews was the later pick and the more productive. Andrews came onto the scene last year and was MVP Lamar Jackson’s favorite target. Joe Flacco is still the quarterback in Baltimore and also loves tight ends. Last season, Mark Andrews had 64 catches for 852 yards and 10 touchdowns.

26. Atlanta Falcons: Orlando Brown, OT (Picked No.83 Overall)

Original Pick: Calvin Ridley, WR

The Falcons miss out on getting Calvin Ridley here and must look to invest in more assets to protect Matt Ryan; Orlando Brown at tackle on the right side while Jake Matthews takes responsibility on the left. Orlando Brown has been a brick wall for pass rushers. His 6’8, 355 lbs. frame is too much for Atlanta to pass up.

27. Seattle Seahawks: Sony Michel, RB (Picked No.31 Overall)

Original Pick: Rashaad Penny, RB

Sony Michel comes in at 27 here. The reason is due to a crowded backfield in New England. Rashaad Penny has not established himself as a top runner in the Seattle backfield. I believe that Seattle trading up for a running back signals for them to take the best available. Sony would add a one cut run game to the less crowded running back room.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers: Da’Ron Payne, DE (Picked No.13 Overall)

Original Pick: Terrell Edmunds, S

The Steelers take Payne here to pair with Cameron Heyward. This would put two large defensive linemen on the edge 一 a Mike Tomlin dream. Payne has been put into a crowded defensive line in Washington and this gives the Steelers defense someone who can play all four downs. 112 tackles in two years and seven sacks with a crowded D-Line. He could be even more productive in this Steelers defense.

29. Jacksonville Jaguars: Vita Vea (Picked No. 12 Overall)

Original Pick: Taven Bryan, DT

Taven Bryan has yet to have his starting opportunity in Jacksonville. Vita Vea comes in here to bring another big body to the defensive line. This helps Jacksonville lose the large contract they will soon regret for Marcell Dareus. Vita helps stop the run in what is known this season as Sacksonville.

30. Minnesota Vikings: Harold Landry, OLB (Picked No. 41 Overall)

Original Pick: Mike Hughes, CB

With a linebacker core that includes Anthony Barr, it would not hurt the Vikings, who selected cornerback Mike Hughes here in a crowded secondary, to have Landry added. Harold Landry has been productive so far in his two seasons in Tennessee. With 112 tackles and 13.5 sacks, he’s an asset to an already terrifying defense in Minnesota.

31. New England Patriots: Conor Williams, OT(Picked No.50 Overall)

Original Pick: Sony Michel, RB

The New England Patriots have already selected a running back and no longer need Michel. They do however need to address the offensive line. Here they go with the Texas product that creates opportunities for Tom Brady to have too more time to throw. Williams also provides a lot of run blocking help which they originally drafted Isaiah Wynn.

32. Baltimore Ravens: D.J Chark (Picked No.61 Overall)

Original Pick: Lamar Jackson, QB

D.J Chark goes here as he is a deep threat. John Brown is the current top receiver on the team. After becoming a starter last season, Chark came onto the scene hot. Eight touchdowns and a thousand yard season later, there’s reason to believe that the Ravens will add another pass catcher for the second time in this first round.
