The Bills have been a team to watch the last two years, with dominating performances by their offense and defense during the regular season, two deep playoff runs, and all backed by MVP caliber play by Josh Allen. It will be hard not to watch the Bills for the duration of the 22′ season, considering they have six primetime games, including a Thanksgiving matchup against the Lions. It’s going to be Bills Mafia, and for a good reason. They’re a great team.

With some solid offseason moves, including a great draft, Buffalo revamped their team on both sides of the ball. The first thing that the Bills did was go out and sign Von Miller, fresh off of a Super Bowl victory. Miller can still ball out and give them a solid pass-rushing duo with him and AJ Epenesa. In addition, Tre’Davious White will be returning from his ACL tear, giving them back their CB1, whom they missed during the playoffs. Buffalo doubled down in their secondary by selecting Kaiir Elum in the first round, and he was requesting the playbook be in the plane on his way out to Buffalo. Elum is ready for the NFL and looking to make his mark as he did at the University of Florida. With an excellent pass rush and a secondary to back them up (don’t forget Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde are still around), this is rounding out to be one of the best defenses in football on paper. But it’s not their defense that is scary coming into 2022; it’s their offense.

In the second round of the draft, the Bills selected James Cook out of Georgia. Cook is a change of pace back with an excellent ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Derek Singletary (who had his best rushing season in 2021) and Zach Moss have struggled to provide Allen and the offense consistency at the running back position over the last few seasons. Cook can give stability alongside Singletary, making the offense a complete unit with the ability to run and pass the ball in any situation. In the last few videos, I have said that they are only a running back away from being the scariest offense in the NFL, and now with Cook, it’s becoming just that. The Bills will win the AFC East and do everything possible to make it to the Super Bowl after falling just short.
